Pop-up Exhibition
In collabration with Chris & Francesco, two office workers from NYC who recreate famous paintings, Lacie will open a pop-up exhibition to demonstrate that if famous paintings are not properly backed up the world will see nothing but bad replications.
BACKITUP.COM Microsite
BACKITUP.COM is a curated microsite of content that has been recreated and that turned out bad. New content will be featured daily. Users will be able to share and upload content for it to have a chance to be featured on the site.
#BACKITUP
Lacie followers will post their precious pictures that they recreated using the #backitup. A winner will be randomly chosen and given a free Lacie hard drive and pictures will be added on Lacie’s backitup.com microsite.
Michael’s Collaboration
Lacie will collaborate with Michael’s craft stores and insert Lacie ads in picture frames to warn customers to purchase a Lacie hard drive to back up the photo they’re about to frame.
